Can’t think of a better album to finish off the first year of the blog.

Next year, we’ll be posting albums on more of an ad hock basis rather than weekly. But you can definitely still expect the usual song posts. We’re really looking forward to carrying this on into the future and appreciate you helping us to build this movement. HAPPY NEW YEAR – PEACE!!

Ugly Duckling‘s unforgettable first release (1999). After the era of G-Funk and West Coast gangster rap, most heads were caught off guard to hear that a group from Long Beach California could make classic Hip-hop like this. Andy Cat, Dizzee Dustin, and their super fresh DJ, Young Einstein have opened doors for countless other West Coast Emcees who just want to make ill, creative Hip-hop music. Couldn’t embed a full listen for this album but this is a MUST HAVE. Listen to this and you’ll be hooked on UD’s freshness until the “End of Time“.
